Summer Staples
Summer is fully here in Chicago and I’m so ready to start soaking up every ounce of sunshine. Here are just a few items that will be staples for me this summer while I’m working at the farmer’s market, laying out on the beach, or going for a hike.

I’m headed to Cape Cod for my annual girl’s trip with two of my best friends from my hometown (I’ll be doing a post all about how we prepped for our trip and what all we are getting up to) and we’ve scheduled for multiple days of hanging out on the beach. All three of us our southern girls that grew up vacationing on the white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, so us lounging on the beach with a margarita in hand is our kind of day. I’m crazy about my sunscreen and this hat is a plus in helping me protect my skin from the sun. The age-old question of “what would you tell your younger self”? One of the things I would tell my younger self would be to start wearing sunscreen as soon as possible! I only got religious about my daily sunscreen use during my sophomore/junior year of college. 4. Chunky Gold Hoops
